Building A Nylon Bullwhip With A Wooden Handle & Transition Ferrule - Whip Making Tutorial

In this video, we will be building a 7ft, 16 plait nylon bullwhip with an African Blackwood handle and a nickel silver ferule at the transition. I'll be showing in detail, the process of turning the handle on the lathe from a square blank, to a polished whip handle. We'll be shaping the handle in such a way that it will allow us to install a 21mm ferrule to the transition of the handle. This creates a beautiful contrast between the metal and polished wood.
