As of today, May 2, 2025, the ATM withdrawal charges have been revised as per the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). These new charges came into effect on May 1, 2025.

* Own Bank ATMs: 5 free transactions per month (including both financial and non-financial transactions).
* Other Bank ATMs:
* Metro Cities: 3 free transactions per month (including both financial and non-financial transactions). Metro cities include Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
* Non-Metro Cities: 5 free transactions per month (including both financial and non-financial transactions).
* Charges Beyond Free Limit:
* ₹23 per cash withdrawal at both own-bank and other-bank ATMs.
* This is an increase from the previous charge of ₹21 per transaction.
* Applicable taxes will be extra.
* Non-Financial Transactions:
* Charges for non-financial transactions (like balance inquiry, mini statement) at other bank ATMs beyond the free limit may vary slightly between banks. For example, PNB has revised it to ₹11 (excluding GST) effective May 9, 2025, while IndusInd Bank does not specify this charge but mentions ₹23 for financial transactions at non-IndusInd ATMs. Some banks like Yes Bank specify ₹10 per non-financial transaction after the free limit.
