Pioneer Elite Bdp-62fd Blu Ray player review

A review of the Pioneer Elite Bdp-62fd Blu Ray player. I purchased this player recently and give a quick run through of the functions of the device and my thoughts on this player. It certainly cannot stand up to the Oppo BDP-103 in terms of interface or indeed inputs or outputs.
That said the pioneer does a nice job with blu ray discs and the internal scalar and video processor really shine. This is tempered by a lack of features on the audio side. It does play sacd's and dvd audio discs and can bit stream dsd signals, however there are no analogue outputs whatsoever on this player and this could be a real deal killer for some.
