Lately, my videos have featured the lives of the lowly folks in Sri Lanka. By way of contrast, this video reminds you that life at the top continues undisturbed at the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo. As is the case with other (non)-developing nations there is a social crust of Western affiliated elites occupying the top of the ant heap with a large subservient class below them. Unlike most Western countries the middle class is thin and occupied by people like dental technicians. The Kingsbury Hotel is one of the favourite wedding locations in Colombo for the well to do.
