See Wales Like NEVER Before From a Helicopter! | ATC | Commentary
Welcome to Part 3 (of 4)
Join me for a captivating helicopter flight, offering a unique pilot's perspective from the cockpit as we soar through the stunning Welsh countryside. This aviation adventure provides breathtaking aerial views, showcasing the beauty of flight from my aircraft in 4k video. It's a wonderful travel video for anyone interested in flying in the Welsh countryside.
Part 3 of this incredible Welsh countryside helicopter series in G-HVRZ might just be the most spectacular leg yet.
Departing the stunning Lake Vyrnwy, we continue deeper into the heart of Wales, surrounded by some of the most dramatic and unspoilt scenery the UK has to offer.
Tracking northwest, we arrive over Bala Lake — the largest natural lake in Wales — before picking up a series of winding valleys that guide us towards Corwen and onto the beautiful town of Llangollen.
Here, things get really interesting…
We overfly two of the most iconic engineering landmarks in the UK:
• The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct — a UNESCO World Heritage Site carrying a canal high above the River Dee
• And the impressive Chirk Viaduct, cutting through the valley below
From there, we continue following the river before making a perfect helicopter arrival into our destination — the fantastic The Boat Inn at Erbistock
A proper fly-in pub… and the perfect place to stop.
This series just keeps getting better — and we’re not done yet.
