A new generation tower designed by Jean Nouvel, in the heart of the Rose de Cherbourg 300 metres from the La Défense Grande Arche station, fully integrated into the Rose de Cherbourg restructuring project, the Hekla tower is part of an urban environment in the midst of a major reconversion. The project is accompanied by the redevelopment of the ring of the Boulevard Circulaire into a suspended planted promenade inspired by the New York High Line, as well as new links between the town of Puteaux and La Défense. Designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, the architecture of the future building is inspired by the triangular plot on which the tower is built. Trapezoidal shapes are drawn on the facades with multiple sunbreakers that will contribute to the thermal regulation of the building. The Hekla Tower has received several awards. It has been awarded the WiredScore Platinum label and the "La Pierre d'Or 2019" award for Best Programme.
