In 2018 Montana Rail Link returned a few of the 3,600 HP EMD SD45's to Helper Service on Bozeman Pass to help lift trains to the summit. We will see the SD45's in helper service on both a coal and oil train as they work their way towards summit on the 2% grade. Enjoy!
