Major points:
-Risks of infection, injury, & other complications may result from ANY & ALL contact lens wear
-Never purchase contact lenses from a store or website that doesn’t require a valid contact lens prescription
-Follow proper cleaning, disinfection, & contact lens storage instructions given to you by your eye care professional
-Be aware of contact lens expiration dates
-Avoid overwear & sleeping in lenses

***Seek medical attention right away & remove your contact lenses if your eyes are red, have ongoing pain or discharge! Redness, pain and discharge from the eyes are signs of an eye infection. If you think you have an eye infection from your contact lenses, remove them and see an eye doctor right away.
