Still rather new to television, this live series presented Dorothy Collins, Eileen Wilson and Snooky Lanson with Raymond Scott conducting the Hit Parade orchestra in the top 7 songs of the week plus 2 extras in clever settings. Elieen sings the #1 song, If, Dorothy performs the #2 song, Mockin' Bird Hill, and Snooky tackles the #3 song, On Top of Old Smokey. The rest of the songs are Sparrow in the Tree Top, It's Delovely,Be My Love, How High the Moon, Mama Inez, Would I Love You, Chicago, and the cast join Eileen for the classic closing theme: So Long for Awhile. The Hit Parade dancers featuring Paul Godkin perform a couple tunes. It would be a couple years before Gisele MacKenzie joined the cast.
