Do you really need a makeup primer? Nothing ruins a good makeup look like dry, textured skin. Without the right skin prep, your makeup can settle into fine lines, wrinkles, and can make your pores look larger. That's why I had my makeup artist @Makeup By Nikki La Rose join me in this video to share our tips on how to get a smooth makeup application from foundation to lipstick. Plus, get a tutorial on how to get the smoky eye makeup look we did when I recently judged Miss USA!

Just a note, this is a nighttime look, so there's no sunscreen in the makeup prep, but I would definitely wear SPF if this were a daytime makeup look.
