Applicant Dashboard in Next.js 🔥 Role Based Redirect + Protected Layout.tsx (Job Portal App)

In this video, we are continuing our Job Portal Application using Next.js + MySQL + Prisma ORM + TypeScript.

We have already completed the Employer Dashboard, and now we are starting the Applicant Module.

How to login as Applicant
Fix the issue with the current Applicant Dashboard
How to add security in page.tsx
Why using layout.tsx is the best way to protect routes

Role-based redirect:

If user is NOT applicant → redirect to Employer Dashboard
If user is applicant ✅ → show Applicant Dashboard

This is a real-world feature used in professional web apps and SaaS products.
