Singapore Negligence Law Part 4 - remoteness
Remoteness refers to the requirement in negligence law that the damage suffered by the claimant must be of a foreseeable nature.
In negligence claims, once the claimant has established a duty of care and breached that duty causing him damage, they must also show to the Court that the damage was not too remote.
