What the Heck is WALL DRUG

What the heck is Wall Drug? As we were traveling on interstate 90 East
we kept seeing billboards with ads for wall drug. It is about 55 miles east of Rapid City South Dakota. .
Of course I was curious so I looked it up on my phone. 76,000 square foot drug store with everything in it. So we had to stop by the town of Wall. Wall South Dakota has a population of 881 people with a huge drugstore. People come from all over to visit wall, the drug store has made it very popular. We arrived late in the afternoon did some shopping and we had dinner in the Wall Cafe. We found a Campground down the street so we spent the night and we had breakfast the next morning in the 400 seat Wall Cafe and did some more shopping.
The cafe has good food but it's a little pricey I guess you're paying for the atmosphere. They have free ice water and coffee for $0.05 a cup. But if you get a to-go cup of coffee it was $0.99 for the 20 oz to go cup. Wall drug also included a CHAPEL!!!
This is an interesting city to visit and of course we left with some souvenirs. So if you're ever in South Dakota not too far from Rapid City stop by Wall South Dakota and visit the Wall Drug.
