Youth Program Quality Intervention Overview | arbetterbeginnings.com

The Youth Program Quality Intervention, also known as YPQI, is a process of continuous quality improvement for your after-school or summer program. The intervention consists of a three-step, ASSESS-PLAN-IMPROVE, process.
To assess your program, you will choose one of the two assessments. The School Age Program Quality Assessment (SAPQA) is designed for programs that serve youth in kindergarten through 6th grade. The Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA) is designed for programs serving youth in grades 4 through 12.

Contact ASU Childhood Services to use YPQI in your program at http://ittc-web.astate.edu/chs/#!youth_dev_training.

Register for YPQA basics or other training at http://professionalregistry.astate.edu/registry.asp. Click on the “Training Opportunities” link in the menu to search for the appropriate training.
