DIY Bridal Robe / Silk Robe
Please turn on subtitles if the video is muted, I have listed all the instructions there, plus updated measurements :)
MEASUREMENT UPDATE!!
I made a mistake on the back pattern so hopefully ill be able to explain it better here:
The bottom is actually 14 inches so when the whole thing is opened out, the top measurement will be 48" and the bottom will be the same (28"+20" for the sleeves combined)
For the front pattern, I should have mentioned that the top was initially drawn 28" across the top (then minus the 4"& 3" which now makes 21"), then the bottom is 18" (if I add the 10" for the sleeve, it will match the 28" for the top).
Also while I'm correcting the measurements, I need to add that although I cut the top of the front section at 21", I think it would be better to measure it at 20" to give more room on the neck but I guess you can cut at 21" and take it in to where you prefer.
Before cutting the material I added half inch seam allowance. I really hope I explained it better this time x
