Wednesday Severe Weather Alert – Midwest & Ohio Valley

An Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) for severe thunderstorms is in place Wednesday from the Mid–Mississippi Valley into Indiana and western Ohio, including parts of Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Storms may produce strong tornadoes, very large hail, and swaths of damaging wind from Wednesday afternoon into the night. Monitor local forecasts and NOAA/NWS Storm Prediction Center updates and have a shelter plan if you’re in or near the orange Enhanced Risk area.
