Fire Purifies

Just as a fire has the ability to purify gold, circumstances have the ability to purify our hearts. As we are purified, all the impurities come to the surface. God does not send these fires to us, but He also doesn’t allow us to just pass through them without being changed. Rather He wants to transform us into His character and likeness. Let us not waste a circumstance, instead keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus so that as we behold Him, we become like Him.
