In this repair video, we will Program the EFI Bios Chip for the 2013 imac A1418 to clear the EFI password. Customer forgot his password and as a result, he is unable to reinstall an Operating system on the new SSD drive he put in there. The EFI bios chip will will be flashed with a clean firmware that has no password using the TL866II Plus EEPROM Programmer. The chip is then soldered back to the board. We clear NVram and the Imac will be unlocked and back to factory with a password. The same process goes for Macbook, imac, dell, lenovo, hp and all other computer laptops Make and Model
