There are literally countless reasons why a store would want to add password protection to some of their product categories. You could add a member-only section to your WooCommerce shop. Or hide restricted products until customers log in. So today, I’ll show you how to do this with the help of our WooCommerce Protected Categories plugin.

There are 3 types of protection offered by the plugin:
1. Password protection - any customer can unlock the category by entering a correct password.
2. User roles - select one or more user roles who will have access to the protected category.
3. Individual users - select one or more specific users who will have access to the protected category.
