J&K: Security Forces Destroy Jaish Terror Hideout In Kishtwar, Kill 3 Militants | India Today

In an exclusive report from Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir, India Today accessed the destroyed terror hideout of Jaish-e-Mohammad in the remote Chhatru area. Security forces launched a massive counter-terror operation on Sunday morning after receiving specific intelligence about terrorist presence in the dense forests. The joint operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF resulted in the neutralisation of three Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists, including dreaded commander Saifullah. The fortified hideout, carved deep into the hills, was pounded and destroyed during the relentless operation. Evidence recovered from the site includes weapons, ammunition, incriminating documents, supplies, and personal belongings scattered across the burnt structure. The terror group had been active in the region for over two years, having infiltrated in 2024 as part of a seven-member module that carried out multiple attacks on security forces and civilians.
