Afghan families stranded between Tajikistan and Afghanistan
Afghans stranded in a neutral zone along the Amu Darya river beg, in Tajik, for help from Dushanbe. They are scared, hungry, thirsty and are seeking a haven, they explain. And there are dark rumors about how, far from being assisted by Tajik border guards, these families have instead been insulted and beaten.
