After a difficult few years pre-pandemic, in which the company strayed too far from its core lineup and mission, and then several more years rebuilding, ghee brand 4th & Heart has regained its momentum, CEO Max Dichter believes. In this video, shot at Natural Products Expo East 2022, NOSH Editor Carol Ortenberg spoke with Dichter about what the past few years have looked like for the seven-year-old brand.
Following Ditcher’s promotion from CFO to CEO in 2020, the company has reformulated products, undergone a SKU rationalization and changed manufacturing processes, resulting in higher margins and profitability.
