75 ವರ್ಷದ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನೇ ಮೌನಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಬ್ರೆಸ್ಟ್‌ನಿಂದ ಲಂಗ್ಸ್ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹರಡಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಭಯ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವು ವಾರಗಳು ನೋವು, ಅಸಹನೆ, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಗೊಂದಲ—ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಒಂದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಯಿತು.
ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ ನಂತರ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧಾನವಾದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಕಾಣಿಸತೊಡಗಿತು. ಇಂದು ದಿನಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮತೋಲನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮುಂದುವರಿದೇ ಇದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಭರವಸೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

At the age of 75, the news brought sudden silence to the family. They were told the condition had spread from the breast to the lungs, and surgery was advised. Those weeks were filled with pain, discomfort, and constant worry.
After coming here, small but noticeable changes began to appear in daily life. Today, her days feel more settled than before. The journey is still ongoing, but there is a sense of calm and reassurance that wasn’t there earlier.
