Fishing Lure Photography Workflow

The key points for my lure photography workflow are, to use a good lens with a low/wide aperture (I use a Canon 50mm f/1.4 but anything down under f/2.0 is going to give some nice depth of field to the shot). Find some contrast in the lighting, so that the lure is bright and pops out from the darker background (use a small light to help light the lure). Then polish it off on the computer. The whole time remembering that most people view media on their mobile phone nowadays (small screen), so take this into account and shoot and edit with this in mind.
