Back to Basics! Oil change for the 82 720
It's time for a change!! An oil change that is...so I'll be heading out of town again. I've got some maintenance to do on one of our buses' located in Ruston Louisiana, which is about an hour away from Shreveport Louisiana.
I've gone over by 2K miles for an oil change. Back in the day it was 3 months or 3K miles for the old carberated engines. When a old car reached over 100K miles, they were considered used up. Of course they're people that meticulously kept up with their car's maintenance and you have cars with million miles on them. With fuel injection and better oil and fuel, cars last a lot longer with regular maintenance. Carberated engines can last a long time too, you just have to keep that carb tuned, engine tuned up and maintenance kept up. Cylinder wash from raw fuel getting in the oil is the major issue on older engines. Especially back in the day.
I'm kinda using this opportunity to head on over to the next town of Monroe Louisiana, home of Duck Dynasty. I read there's a 4x4 720 in that neck of the woods in a junkyard.
If all goes well, I'll be making another video for us to watch! My channel gets so many views, almost 100k views, but yet 97% are not subscribed. I need feedback on what I'm doing to keep people from pressing that button. 😆
Thanks for watching, hope you like and subscribe.
