This video is dedicated to the Top 10 Character Introductions of the Primetime Supersoaps aired from 1980 to 1989. It includes the following shows: "Dallas", "Knots Landing", "Dynasty", and "Falcon Crest".

Correction: Alexis Smith was nominated for an Emmy in 1990 instead of 1982. Thanks to Jay Wakler for pointing it out.

The complete "Dallas" is available on DVD through Warner Home Video. The complete "Dynasty" is available thru CBS-Paramount. First 2 seasons of "Knots Landing" and "Falcon Crest" are available thru Warner HV, Season 3 of FC on MOD, and its Season 4 on iTunes.
