[Joe] I admire my wife for empowering our kids to always love who they are as individuals. In a world that tends to be quick to point out differences, my wife reminds our kids to embrace what is unique and special.
As our kids are learn more korean each day, I’m able to brush up on my own right along side them. Even though English is my main language, my kids unknowingly help me recall my own mother tongue in little moments.
We were modeled after God’s design to be a bridge and to build a meaningful connection with one another. Using everything that we are and everything that we’ve been given to manage over, He made each of us a gift to someone, so we can point back to Him as the gift giver..
Whether that just means to be a friend, a partner, or just an encouragement, I’ve been uncovering each day that it’s our differences that is the difference-maker.

1 Peter 4:10-11 ESV
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.
