In this video, using the Nikon Z6, we compare two Nikkor 70-200mm lenses: the F-mount AF S 70-200mm 2..8G ED VRII, released in 2008, with the new Z-mount 70-200 2.8 VR S.
The VRII is used with the F- to Z-mount (FTZ) adapter, while the VR S is designed specifically for the full frame Z System mirrorless cameras with their wide, 55mm diameter mount.
Comparisons are practical, non-technical in nature. We examine still images made on location. (RAW, largely unedited except for profiles/lens corrections automatically added in Lightroom).
