Did you notice that in The Wire season 4, there is a ring that travels from owner to owner throughout the season? At first it is owned by Old Faced Andre, who has it taken off him by Marlo when the two meet. Then, when Marlo has just won his first card game, Omar bursts in and robs the game, taking the ring off Marlo with him. Omar is later arrested by Officer Walker, and Walker takes the ring from Omar before having him thrown into the police van. And finally, when the kids take revenge on Walker for his abuse, Michael robs the ring off Walker at gunpoint, and he is the final owner of the ring.
