St George’s Swing Bridge Replacement - Road Realignment Update

An update on the road realignment works supporting the St. George’s Swing Bridge replacement project.

Construction is now underway, and Phase 1 traffic arrangements are in place. Motorists travelling through St. David’s and into St. George’s are encouraged to follow posted signage, observe traffic management measures, and allow extra travel time as work progresses.

Access to St. David’s remains via St. David’s Road, while access to Double Dip is currently available through Gate 1 and the Southside Road near the Police Station.
