Kerala Assembly Polls 2026 | "Only 9 Of 90": Shama Mohamed Flags Women’s Representation Gap

Congress leader Shama Mohamed has raised concerns over the low representation of women in the party’s ticket allocation for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections. Highlighting that only 9 out of around 90 seats have been allotted to women candidates, she termed the situation disappointing and called for greater inclusion.
