Peter Bundy 5600 105 rebuild (new bike donor) converted to R600 compact then bought to France in 2009.
Short cranked and regeared spent its time as a shopping trolley for about 5 years+ ( Foix - Pamiers)
A broken spoke on the RS20s required the change out to the old Fulcrum R3s ex Pinarello, a seat change and 5800 front brakes..
The frame is a not known, Columbus and Campy ex Sydney North Shore steet racer is the best guess..
'Hillbrick' drop outs were bronzed in and the chrome rears painted in 2009 before shipping out to France.. the set up for the welding job can be seen seen on an old youtube channel lmbfr.. prep included pealing the chrome and acid soaking the tubes, talking with Peter and his Dad I ended up using Manganese- Bronze, this was a time to reset the frame for straight, this bike had many signs of racing Prangs, the frame ended up lower by 3mm, this helped in stability, as of 2020 this mod has proved good for many miles in 33/28 as a climber and tractor to the trailers..
