Unions Unite - Featuring Dee Lee | USA4Life - USA x SMART

Dee Lee, an apprentice with SMART Local 85 is passionate about unions, helping others, and giving back to her community.
Join us as we hear about her union story and how she got involved with SMART and the Union Sportsmen's Alliance. Her journey is a great example of what you can accomplish when you are driven to help others and bring passion to the work you do.
Dee first learned about the Union Sportsmen's Alliance during an USA All-Women's Hike during the Tradeswomen Build Nations conference in Washington, D.C. in 2023. Having a great experience at the event encouraged Dee to reach out to the Union Sportsmen's Alliance and ask how she could start a project in her community.
Through her efforts, union members came together to build and install a new dock at Lake Allatoona in Atlanta, Georgia, a recreation area that receives close to 7 million visitors annually.
Dee is grateful for her opportunities. She's found a place to belong, a lifestyle and benefits that are made possible by her union, and work that she genuinely loves to do.

The Union Sportsmen's Alliance is lucky to have Dee as a USA member, for life.
