The Roman Thermae Odessos (Varna, Bulgaria)

Constructed in the late 2ndc AD during the rein of the Roman Emperor Septimus Severus (193 - 211), the Thermae of Odessos had a short life as a civic social hub having already been abandoned by 280AD. It was later canabalized and integrated into other structures such as the small thermae of Odessos in the 4thc.
The area of the baths are some 75,000 square feet making it the 4th largest preserved thermae in Europe and the largest in the Balkans.
