Foreigners Recount Their Most Interesting Indian Experiences

When foreigners visit India, which experiences impact them the most? Which memories will stay with them long after they have returned to their home countries? We visited Connaught Place in New Delhi to find out. Some of the foreigners that we interviewed had been in India for years, while others had only been in India for a few months.

The first person that we interviewed told us about how he met Osho in Pune. At the time, foreigners who were entering India to visit Osho's Pune ashram were being denied entry into India, and so most of them were lying about the reason that they were entering the country. The man that we interviewed also visited Rajneeshpuram in Oregon after Osho decided that he wanted to operate out of the United States rather than India.
