WHAT TO DO IF YOU’RE ALREADY HACKED

IMMEDIATE STEPS (DO THIS FIRST)

1️⃣ Disconnect WiFi Immediately
Cut internet access so the hacker can’t send or receive data.

2️⃣ Turn OFF the Compromised Device
No power = no access.

3️⃣ Change ALL Passwords
Use a different, safe device.
Email, banking, social media — everything.

4️⃣ Reset Router & CCTV to Factory Settings
Then set new strong passwords (never reuse old ones).

5️⃣ Check for Unknown Apps or Permissions
Remove anything you don’t recognize.

6️⃣ Contact the Cyber Crime Cell
Report it officially on the government cybercrime portal or local cyber police.

7️⃣ Inform Your Bank Immediately
If any payment or banking app was involved, alert them to freeze or monitor activity.
