Why are there so many SHOE stores in GERMANY?!

WHY are there so many shoe stores in Germany?! In this video I’m talking about all of the shoe-related culture shocks I noticed as an American living in Germany and I took videos of a ton of shoe stores I passed by in Passau! There are definitely some shoes that are cheaper or more expensive than in the US, and I also posed some questions such as why are the shoes always on sale and how do German consumers differentiate between stores that are so similar?!
