Healing through Music, Art, Dance - Creative Therapy. My video on the therapeutic and healing effect of Music, Art, dance, movement, laughter and self- expression of all forms. Creativity activates joy which alleviates stress and suffering. We unblock an inhibited, closed down, stiff part of ourself that fears judgement, when we remove self judgement and offer ourselves liberation and freedom of movement. Without shame and fear squashing our authentic selves down we can express how we truly feel, releasing pain, anger, resentment and trauma. When we ignore, escape from and push away our emotions we numb ourselves also to joy, happiness and love which causes depression and a feeling of emptiness.

Creative expression can ignite pleasure, gratitude, a being present in the moment, thankfulness for our own life force, revelling in what 'is', improving our perception, mood and bringing about abundance and blessings. Why does dancing feel so good? Our movements are our energetic signature. There are pains inside us and without acknowledgement they are trapped with no relief. Different creative mediums offer an outlet that suit different people. Using a mix of them is best. What you create does not have to be visually appealing. I often find creativity is an exorcism of sorts, so what comes out may be 'ugly'. The point is how the process makes you feel and what you can tap into through the exercise. You don't have to hold your pain in your body, wallowing in it or trying to ignore it, you can use creative means to acknowledge it, feel it, connect with it, have compassion for yourself, relieve it, and expel it! The Divine feminine energy is creative in nature so we magnetise more blessings and more power this way.
