3 long years. We fought every battle with our heads up high and the determination that we would beat whatever it was. Through heat strokes, a nasty facial fungus, a dangerous eye infection, a cracked hoof, different length-ed cannon bones, endless knee problems, bad timing, people who lacked belief. Somehow we always came out on top. But this time, we've been buried underneath it all. I would give up the world to get more time with him but I can't. This is it. This horse gave me everything and more, and no matter where we both end up in these next few months, he will always be my hero.
