Midge and Lenny were the highlight of the show and I am very sad we had to say goodbye to them. I wish they'd gotten a bit more of a send-off if I'm honest. While the season was far from my favourite, I did really love editing them and the S5 scenes we got.

For this video, I wanted to parallel Midge and Lenny's lives. Their similarities, their differences, and especially their love of comedy. At first I was planning on ending it with her at the top and him back performing in bars, but I really loved the way he laughs after the Carnegie Hall performance and how similar it is to Midge's laugh in her Gordon Ford performance. A joyful moment doing what they love and a slightly more hopeful ending for once.
