INSTRUCTIONS:

Adding keyframes to animate objects.

On the layer you want to animate twirl down the chevrons on the left until you reveal its Transform properties.

Clicking the Stopwatch icon next to a Property, such as position or scale, will create a manual keyframe at the Current Time Indicator for that property only.

For animation to occur two or more keyframes with different values must be created, to the same property, at different points in time.

Creating new keyframes can be done manually by clicking the keyframe indicators on the far left.

Or, automatically, by changing the property value. Such as moving its position or changing its scale.

Automatic keyframes are only generated for properties which already have at least one keyframe.
Revealing and removing keyframes to disable animation.

You can expose any current keyframes on a layer by selecting it, and pressing 'U' on the keyboard.

Deleting keyframes can be done individually, by highlighting the keyframes and pressing Delete on the keyboard, or by toggling the Stopwatch icon next to a property. This removes all keyframes from that particular property, disabling its animation.
