ADHD & VA disability claims

Sometimes Veterans are misdiagnosed with adult ADHD and that can negatively impact their VA disability claim (because C&P examiners then speculate that their problems started in childhood-- prior to their military service-- despite a lack of any substantial evidence of this).

Concentration issues and what the lay public might think of as "ADHD symptoms" are a non-specific symptom which can come from lots of different mental health issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc.
