Hi, my name is Lilly and I need some advice. I’m 16-years old and I’m in a situation I probably shouldn’t be in. I’ve had a crush on my science teacher for a long time. Actually, all of the girls have. He’s 23. He’s smart, funny, and ridiculously good looking. All the girls talk about him and try to impress him. We would always dress cute for his class and compete for his attention. I think all the boys in class hated it because they got exactly no attention from the girls. I kind of felt bad for the guys, but the thing is, most of the girls want a man, not a high-school boy. That’s part of what made my teacher, James so attractive. An older guy with a house and a job is way more attractive than any highschool guy. He was kind of my fantasy, but I knew it was just a fantasy and could never become anything. Or at least, I thought I knew. It turns out, things are a little more complicated than I thought. Sometimes dreams do come true, but you also have to be careful what you wish for. I’ll get to that. Anyway, my story really took a turn a couple of months ago. One day, I stayed after class for a little bit to get some help with my science project. I was talking to him and kind of awkwardly flirting, and he smiled like I had never seen before. He actually seemed like he was flirting back which made me more excited and more nervous.
