PASEC2024 Assessment: Understanding and improving the quality of Education in Africa

Education is at the heart of development!
With PASEC2024, 21 African countries are taking part in one of the largest educational assessments on the continent. This international comparative study measures students' performance in reading and mathematics, from the start of primary school to the end of lower secondary, while analyzing the factors that influence learning quality.

🔎 660,000 participants expected – including students, teachers, school heads, and parents.
🎯 Objective: to provide reliable data and solid analysis to inform education policies and improve student learning outcomes.

An initiative by PASEC – CONFEMEN, with the support of the 21 participating countries and committed partners: the French Development Agency (AFD), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and the Gates Foundation.
