In 2014, Gareth Edwards reintroduced Godzilla to the world in what would eventually kickstart Warner Bros. and Legendary's MonsterVerse. It was shortly followed by Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla King of the Monsters all building up to an epic showdown between Toho's titans of cinema King Kong and Godzilla. Now, Adam Wingard is in the director's chair for the new Kong vs. Godzilla movie and if the Godzilla vs. Kong trailers are any indication, we're in for an action packed joyride. Starring Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Alexander Skarsgard, Bryan Tyree-Henry, Kyle Chandler, and more, Godzilla vs. Kong movie sees Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home. Along for the ride is Jia, an orphaned girl who has a unique and powerful bond with the mighty beast. However, they soon find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla as he cuts a swath of destruction across the globe. The initial confrontation between the two titans -- instigated by unseen forces -- is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the planet.
