On this Web DM, Jim and Pruitt begin with the nature and need for oozes, jellies, puddings, and Gelatinous cubes. Adventurers should consider the ramifications of battling these monsters, especially without a magic weapon. Also, the shortcomings of the Hit Point system in relating the appropriate level of horror. Pruitt asks how does the DM properly relay that horror? Jim suggests robust description from both the players and DM.

Left/Right Nerd then move on the break down each monster, starting with the Black Pudding.
JELLO attempted, unsuccessfully, to stop the airing of this episode. Jim expounds on the body horror left in the black puddings wake. Pruitt shares the story of Solaria Shadowfall and the demise of her gear, while learning a valuable life lesson about karma. There’s a brief tangent about DM using monsters such as these as a corrective measure, and take players gear away.
Grey pudding is next on the menu at the Body Horror Buffet. They will take your metal gear away. Ochre jellies are the JV of the Snot Monster League, but they make a great introduction for unseasoned players. The glory of the Gelatinous Cube finally slips into the convo, as Jim tells his ideal GC encounter. Pruitt posits an adventure idea doesn’t waste any of the GC’s potential.

Pruitt then waxes inspirational about ‘The Blob’ and Jim reinforces the need for more accurate, consequential damage descriptions. These body horrors should be taken seriously. A DM could make these monsters the centerpoint of the dungeon, and Jim calls on ‘The God that Crawls’ as inspiration for that. Just remember you can outrun these sticky bastards, so running is always an option.
