X-TECH is a caliper with an oil drive pump integrated in the caliper itself often used in higher category scooters. The master cylinder is operated with the scooter's brake cable, which pulls the master cylinder actuator. This difference in wheelbase is surmounted by an adapter bracket that is fixed to the frame of the scooter and which has an extra hole for fixing the “rear” part of the caliper itself. This bracket is available in plastic often 3D printing or in metal which we recommend for safety reasons.

Another clarification that must be made and that due to this bracket and its natural structure this caliper tends to work higher than the original caliper.
