Why Ballard Is SEATTLE'S BEST NEIGHBORHOOD (According To Some 😉) | Exploring Ballard Farmers Market

Seattle is a city of neighborhoods and many consider Ballard to be the best neighborhood of them all. Where in the past many considered Ballard the armpit of Seattle (mostly due to its inaccessibility to freeways and downtown), today it seems Ballard is exactly where everybody wants to be. With all of the amenities that this neighborhood offers, including parks and other attractions (including Golden Gardens and Ballard Locks), restaurants and bars, who could blame them?

In this video I decide to visit Ballard Farmers Market. If a Seattle neighborhood were ranked according to how good its farmers market was, Ballard would most definitely come in first place. This market is vibrant year round with plenty of vendors, food, arts and crafts, etc.

After strolling Ballard Farmers Market a bit I decide to visit Tuji who is a vendor selling imports from Africa and other corners of the globe. It was good to see him again. After buying coffee and some oysters, I make my way out but not before meeting a poet who blessed me with his skills.

What a good day it was for chillin' in Ballard. If you're looking for a good Seattle neighborhood to hang out at or move to, could Ballard be it?
