Vestibular Rehab Exercises for Dizziness and after Concussion

2 main types of VR ( Vestibular Rehab) Exercises to help decrease dizziness and improved balance. These exercises are useful to help with dizziness experienced after a concussion as well.
A) Theories and goals behind VR Exercises
a) VOR ( Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex) - coordinating eye & head movement
b) VSR (Vestibulospinal Reflex) - coordinating head & body movement
B) Adaptation Exercises - VOR ( 4:08 - 6:50)
a) Eye movements between 2 targets
b) Eye movements to track a moving target
c) Fixed gaze on a target during head movements
d) Fixed gaze on target with the opposite movement of target and head
C) Habituation Exercises - VSR and integration of all the systems (6:50 onward)
1) Lying to sitting to lying with head movements
2) Seated head movements - turning, looking up/down and head to thighs
3) Sitting to standing, then turn, side-bending of the body while standing
4) Static Balance in standing - feet together, tandem stance, one leg stand
5) Dynamic Balance - walking, scanning, walk-top-turn-walk, walking in the
crowd
6) Physical conditioning/Cardio Exercises
7) Running and Sports
D) Additional Exercise - Substitution
