went for an alpine backcountry hike & camp in the beautiful Monashee Mountain Range on the Twin Lakes trail. A grind of hike with a great reward some of the most amazing views I've seen this year. Packed light and used a tarp shelter at 7000 feet and it did not disappoint. All the aches, pains, and bruises were well worth it once arriving at the two little alpine lakes. Did some exploring around the area had a great meal and lumby bakery apple fritter for dessert. Hit the trail early in the morning to get out before the storm rolled in. Came around a corner to stand face to face with a giant bull was a surprise to say the least. The last kilometer the rain really picked up and the last 100 feet had lightning and thunder all around with a monsoon of a rain storm got absaloutly soaked right at the end couldn't have timed it better.
